| Like I said, we decided to go for a whole album, so I had to get songs, no matter from where, as long as they were Bai Kamara songs. Right Now came from my band Aramakiab, and was a typical, traditional blues song. I think it was Thierry and Patrick who came up with the idea "hey, why don't you make a disco song out of it", which I did. It's a funny song, not talking about food at all, a very adult bluesy song and a very macho song, cuz Aramakiab was a very macho band. The text speaks for itself. It's about having a relationship and all this wonderful time. then after a certain time the novelty of the relationship starts to wear out, and you start to question how much further you should take this relationship. |
