WHEN ANGELS CRY |
|

Actually my favorite song of the album. It was written explicitly for my son Kapri, but it's also for all the couples and children who have gone thru the same situation of seperation as I did. |

In the meantime, one of his parents is wandering thru the streets of Brussels I think he enjoyed that. I mean, it's always good to have a stable home, but I think Kapri was always excited going with me to studios, sometimes to concerts and if I dropped him off at a friends place to babysit him, she would expect me to pick him up at even four or five in the morning... he loved that. It was cool. I even remember, when he was much more younger and I was singing in the studio, and he started to cry, I'd bring him in the recording booth with me and I'll give him a headphone while I was singing a song. |
When angels cry, is really a song I think every parent who loves there children can relate to. Kapri is not going to understand that until he's maybe a parent as well. It is my favorite song of the album, I think I'll always sing and I just learned the cords again and just started to play it again... and it's a nice way to end the album, an acoustic song saying something very important and very personal. The whole album is a personal album actually, with stories of myself and the stories of me witnessing my friends. Like don't lie is witnessing fred going into situations I've been into, When angels is me being a witness to Kapri's crying That's the Urban gipsy. |
