There was this period in my life where I had all these different relationships, where I was dating different people (not at the same time, I must add) and while I was totally free... wondering after I was dating one person if I was gonna find the same kind of love again.
The song starts with a thing that really happened, where I saw this girl dancing with a bellybutton with a stud in it and I thought it was one of the most amazing things at that moment. So I stepped up to the girl, said she had the most beautiful bellybutton in the world and asked if I could kiss it. She smiled, said yes and I did. Sometimes you just have to go for it, you know.
