Living Room Interview Lyrics & MP3's
The VALVE Vibes
The intimacy of the record comes thru in many facets.
First of all I worked with my local heroes and close friends, like Eric Moens, who's my mentor. He shaped me and allowed me to grow. He plays guitar on some songs
Then there's Thierry Rombaux. I really like his fine musical taste; everything he does is cool. His accoustic bass sounds wonderful on the record, almost like a contrabass.
Also, there's Nadar Hamid, who introduced me to a rootsy guitarplay
in different weird rythms, which gave a more African vibe to some songs.
Maxima is the engineer, who has always been a great soursce of inspiration.
The understanding between us was now even more, since we recorded
the record in my livingroom, but no mural between us.
Also Roman did a really good job during the pre-production, to get
the sound right.
